Krishti Bengali Cultural Society of Edmonton is a non-profit cultural organization based in the City of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta. With a mission to serve the community and promote Bengali heritage and closely related cultures, Krishti has been organizing a variety of social and cultural events for many years. With overwhelming attendance at these events – often exceeding 500 participants - the founding members of “Krishti” are inspired to take this cultural celebration to new heights with an exciting mega event to be called herein as “Utsab”. We are thrilled to announce that “Utsab” will take place on July 10th and 11th, 2026 at The Edmonton Convention Centre, previously known as Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton.

The event promises to be a spectacular two-day celebration, featuring performances by renowned artists from India and Bangladesh. This cultural festival will be even more special with your participation! We warmly invite community groups such as yours to join us in our “Utsab” by taking the centre stage and contribute tomaking this event a grand success. “Utsab” will offer an immersive environment filled with a variety of performances, including Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, songs of Atul Prasad, songs from Golden Age, band, folk music, dance, drama, comedy and opportunities to reconnect with old friends and family. We envision “Utsab” as a joyful gathering that brings together people and celebration of the vibrant spirit of our community. Your participation, support, and enthusiasms will help make this event truly memorable.

As event planning progresses, we will provide further details on registration, fundraising, stalls, advertising, food arrangements, accommodations, transportation, and a list of invited guest artists.
